Navigating Life Transitions: Moving Forward When Change Feels Scary

Moving forward sounds exciting until you're actually the one who has to do it.

    • A new job.

    • A relationship ending or beginning.

    • Moving somewhere new.

    • Starting over.

    • Making a decision you've been avoiding.

    • Finally doing the thing you've been thinking about for months.

Even when you know you're ready for something different, navigating life transitions and stepping into a new chapter can still feel scary.

Fear has a way of convincing us that uncertainty means something is wrong. Sometimes it does. But sometimes fear simply means you're moving toward something you haven't experienced yet. You don't have to wait until you're completely confident, completely certain, or completely unafraid before you move.

Sometimes growth looks like being scared and opening the door anyway.

Kennedy makes it look considerably easier.

    Wellness Wednesdays with Kennedy

Wellness Wednesdays with Kennedy is a series from Sprout Mental Health inspired by Kennedy, a certified therapy dog who has spent years bringing comfort, connection, joy, and a sense of calm to the people around her. Kennedy has a way of reminding us that wellness can come through connection, movement, humor, rest, and simply having a strong, steady presence beside us.
